she doesn't cough all day. in between just a few sad faces here & there this is what she's been up to.
i heard anabelle stirring in her crib so i walked by to see if she was still asleep. to my surprise, she was in there . . . sitting up. what?! how the heck did she figure that out?
as you can see, she's pretty proud.
well done, babybel!

i tried to put her down for a nap in the afternoon. no such luck. i went in to check on her and found this:

yes, that is a neil diamond onesie. she was dressed up for daddy.
just some awesome bed head after no brushing before bed.

daddy is home!!
(and was quickly recruited to help lower the crib. anabelle realized right before he got home that she can grab the bumper and pull herself up. i guess she was just ready to try some new things - all in one day.)

now the baby discoveries come fast and furious! hang on and enjoy the ride. i find myself every day marveling at what betsy discovers she can do. am left thinking "but she is so little"...until i remember she is almost one. i miss my baby-baby!
