9 months

i crawled into bed on tuesday night, pulled up the covers, and my brain began its usual list making.  standard mommy brain, right?  then, wait . . it was the 23rd!  oh man, i forgot to do the nine month picture.  of course, chris’ calm boy response – ‘she’ll still be nine months tomorrow.’ 
i suppose you’re right, love.

so, with chris’ help the next day (still nine months old) we got the picture done.  she had been swinging outside right before and it had been a little chilly so that’s where the random outfit came in but i figured it was cute so we just went with it.

dear blog . . .

oh my little blog, I miss you so.  my days have been busy with these two amazing littles.  I promise I’ve taken oodles of pictures and am trying to make as many mental notes this filled up momma brain can handle.  there will be some quiet time eventually (preferably when the sun is still up) and I will start catching up.

walk walk walk

just last week emilymae decided to give her little belly a rest and crawl on her hands & knees.  then yesterday she pulled up to standing all on her own.  oh man!  she’s not wasting any time at all.

i just got her a walker so she can keep up with her sister or at least be able to watch what’s going on without getting run over.

here you can definitely see the girl’s own looks (ema isn’t usually this squinty, sort of a silly face in this shot)
i have plenty more pictures of them looking mighty similar though.

gosh, so many more posts I want to write.  hopefully i’ll get to it this weekend.
